Sr. Systems Engineer
SUMMARY AutoZone is looking for a highly experienced Senior Systems Engineer to be part of their Desktop Engineering team! You will be challenged to deliver key desktop initiatives in our IT organization. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for performance management. You will be challenged to solve complex technical problems with unique solutions, identify improvements and work on implementing your recommendations. Requirements: + Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Information Technology, Computer Science or 7+ years of experience. + 7-10 + years of experience in the role of a Desktop Engineer including: + Solid knowledge of device management systems and tools such as SCCM, Intune, Ivanit LanDesk, Mosyle, Jamf or other MDM solutions. + Proficient with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Batch, JSon, etc. + Proficient with packaging applications, patching, and update methodologies. + Must be able to support multi-domain environments. + Experience with GPO, Active Directory and Intune policies. + Experience with support end-user devices for Windows, Mac OS, and Linux experience is a plus. + Experience with any of these technologies is a plus (but not required): + Power Apps, Power Automate or Microsoft Flow. + Microsoft AutoPilot or no-touch/zero touch solutions. + Familiar with Azure AD and SharePoint + Must possess critical thinking skills with the ability to resolve complex business. + Act as liaison with business partners, such as WinTel, InfoSec, Networking, International Desktop Engineering teams, and Desktop Support. + Document technical aspects and solutions. + Build desktop strategies by preparing, testing, and recommending go-forward technologies. + Ability to quickly troubleshoot critical production issues spanning applications/infrastructure. + Recommend and evaluate new tools and methodologies as needed. + Partner with the IT Manager of End-User Services to set the technical vision for the enterprise desktop environment + Working independently with other department personnel Responsibilities: + AutoZoners have a contagious work ethic; including a high sense of urgency to resolve issues quickly, creatively and efficiently.
