The Talent & Development Specialist will partner with Marmon’s VP of Talent & Development and leaders within Marmon’s various groups, business units, and global HR teams to support the implementation of enterprise-wide talent initiatives relating to learning, development, training, assignment management, and succession planning.This position will support key HR Talent and Development deliverables including the succession planning & talent review processes and the assessment & design of leadership development programs, resources, and initiatives to aid in developing current and new leaders. This individual will also coordinate core tasks within larger initiatives, including management of the data collection process and design of the senior leader talent review templates, as well as provide ongoing tracking, reporting, and overall program management expertise.
Drivers for success in this role will be identifying key talent, tracking and monitoring succession planning activities, and fostering professional development of leaders as they advance their careers at Marmon, thereby increasing leadership effectiveness and efficiency by cultivating the natural talents of each employee.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Succession Planning
Leadership Development
Assess the HiPo and Enterprise HiPo talent development programs at the Group levels to determine the optimal approach for Marmon’s leadershipAssist the evaluation and recommendation of the 2025-2026 leadership development approach to support SLT succession planning and broader talent objectivesMaintain and track Key Stakeholder Reviews (KRS’s), qualitative 360’s, and external assessments for senior leaders across Marmon.Partner with the VP, Talent & Development to update leadership learning paths with resources & links and cascade to key stakeholders#LI-Hybrid
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE:
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field of study required; Master’s degree preferred3-5 years of experience in talent management, organizational development and/or leadership development; experience working in a decentralized or matrixed organizational structure preferredAt least 2 years of experience with HRIS systems and data analytics; previous Workday experience strongly desiredData warehouse (i.e., Power BI) experience recommendedStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (particularly Outlook, Excel, and Teams) and Adobe ConnectAdept at project management and change management planning, tools and terminologyStrong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work across leadership levels throughout the organizationAbility to navigate and manage through complex matrix structures and processes to build simplified recommendations and requirements (VUCA)Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
