AHS Talent Management is a team of leadership, learning, and organizational development experts partnering to develop and deliver talent strategies that support AHS’s system-wide goals.

The AHS Senior Talent Management Consultant will partner with the Talent Management’s leadership, HR Business Partners and Business Leaders on the strategic direction, design, support, and management of enterprise talent management processes including Learning and Development, Talent Assessments, Succession Planning, Performance Management, Leader and team member onboarding, Team Development and the use of Talent Analytics tools and resources. 

The Senior Talent Management Consultant will be expected to play a role across all aspects of Talent Management but will have a strong focus on deliverables around leadership development including needs analysis, curriculum design and facilitation. 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Partners with Sr. leadership, Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs) and consults with internal business leaders (clients) to solve talent challenges, determine ideal outcomes, recommend solutions and develops robust learning strategies that change behavior. Conducts comprehensive needs assessments (gap analysis/job analysis) for business units as needed, shares finding and makes recommendations based on those findings. Identifies solutions on build vs. buy decisions ensuring alignment with existing content and internal competencies. Creates and utilizes templates to facilitate all phases of the training project lifecycle (including detailed course plan/storyboard, agenda, evaluation templates, and/or project plans) that facilitate the development of high-quality learning deliverables.  Creates tools, QRC (quick reference cards), systems, processes, and capabilities within the organization to drive talent management and leadership development activities.  Facilitates sessions in multiple formats to include Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) formats. Develops appropriate metrics and tracking mechanisms to measure learning solution impacts Provides reporting on program effectiveness, present information to team and other stakeholders; provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress and results achieved. Develops and implements effective internal marketing campaigns in collaboration with internal communications to ensure team members are aware of learning and development resources and know how to best to utilize them. Creates and maintains internal program websites with relevant content. Supports leader transitions to new or expanded roles, ensuring a positive and constructive experience. Facilitates New Leader Assimilation sessions to effectively acclimate Managers to their team and AHS.  Provides project management support for talent management initiatives such as orientation, leader onboarding, team development and engagement. Contributes to the development and monitoring of system wide talent management strategy, annual and on-going needs assessments, and execution of the talent management related projects.  Other duties as assigned  Adopts and modernize all programs continuously to adjust to and capitalize on the evolving environment, including organizational changes, industry shifts, external events, technological advancements, etc.
