SWBC is seeking a talented individual to manage own work schedule with supervisory responsibilities of developing and mentoring staff. This individual accepts an active role developing working relationships both within and outside of the department. It is also responsible for quick turnaround and/or change of daily work assignments and schedules. This role works in a deadline driven atmosphere requiring a high-level of accuracy and productivity. This individual researches thoroughly and prepares well-written conclusions regarding tax implications of business transactions.

Essential duties include the following:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or four-year university required.Minimum of five (5) years of experience in federal, state, and local tax preparation and accounting required.  Experience with tax return filing and workflow software preferred.Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.Working knowledge in automated sales management tools, preferably SalesForce.com.Strong supervisory skills.Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Possess a high degree of technical skills and be highly motivated with a desire to excel and get things done through others.Able to use basic office equipment, including copy machine, personal computer, and fax.Able to type 40 WPM.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.Able to sit for long periods of time performing sedentary activities.Able to stand, stoop, and kneel to file for long periods of time.Able to push, pull, and lift up to 20 lbs. of files, supplies, documents, or other related items.
