Senior Tax Accountant – Remote East Coast preferred
The Senior Tax Accountant role will be a key member of the Precision for Medicine Group Tax organization. This role will actively manage & support the preparation of global tax filings and global compliance reporting for Precision Medicine Group. This role will report to the Tax Director.
Prepare global income tax provision schedules and reports and maintain the company’s tax database Prepare corporate federal income tax return schedules, including US foreign reporting schedules (e.g. BEAT, GILTI, etc.) Prepare corporate state income tax return schedules Prepare income tax liability forecast and make quarterly estimated/extension payments Complete various corporate tax filings Research tax laws and regulations Assist with tax audits Respond to notices from tax authorities Coordinate outsourced tax preparation work Work closely with external tax consultants as required
Minimum Requirements
3-5 years of relevant experience at a public accounting firm or large multinational corporation
Other Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
• Strong computer skills with knowledge and skills in a wide variety of applications, Thomson Reuters OneSource Provision software experience a plus
• Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Research orientated with problem-solving skills
• Superior attention to detail with strong organizational, analytical and planning skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with team in various levels
• Flexible in dealing with change with ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
