GENERAL FUNCTION
The Senior Technical Analyst (Manufacturing and Logistics) supports medium and/or large implementation projects of equipment and machinery associated with the Manufacturing ,Warehousing and Shipping of product. The person will interface with the business leaders on site and ensure Vendors and Associates are aligned. They will see to the overall integration of the IT components in Distribution centers with our centralized Manufacturing and Logistics applications. In addition they will share in the relationship with Vendors to maintain uptime and availability of our facilities. This role will be available 24x7, as needed to address any business issues.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs day-to-day project tasks needed to manage installation fixes and rework to our production lines Work with Technical services vendors on scheduling and delivery of Manufacturing support services. Create solutions and integrate processes. Report on root causes of problems, efficiency and support needs. Document processes, standard operating procedures and system requirements. Interacts and communicates regularly with Senoir Management current issues/concerns . Configure and support RFID, Wirless RF devices. Interface with corporate on monitoring network and systems for performance, security, and other issues. Collaborating with Business Analysts, Project Leads and IT team on Project designs. Supporting Project planning and management. Risk mitigation planning.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
A degree in information technology, computer science or equivalent work experience Technical certifications are a plus. 5+ years’ of experience in IT or similar position. Experience working remotely (phone, email, etc.) and face-to-face with customers collecting requirements and implementation details, implementing solutions, and providing technical support Confidently takes initiative Resourceful Demonstrates being a respectful listener Quickly becomes part of the team Identifies with ambiguity “as usual” business Keeps focused Proficient in Applications Highly proficient and knowledgeable in MS Office applications; Excel, Word, PowerPoint Fluent with business level English both verbal and written Ability to maintain confidentiality of information both verbal and in various systems.
