If this sounds outstanding to you, take the first step forward and explore a career with Dal-Tile. **Job Objective:** The Sr Technical Manufacturing Specialist is a high performing contributor that serves as a subject matter expert to facilitate and support Manufacturing function and projects by helping to optimize technical manufacturing processes, identify efficiencies, and analyze production data to improve overall operational performance. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams, identifies opportunities for improvement, and plays a pivotal role in maintaining operational excellence. **Duties and Responsibilities of the Position** + Analyze technical manufacturing data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. + Partner with Production Supervisors to address any issues that may impact production timelines. + Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality. + Partner with Production teams to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for process improvement. + Collaborate on projects to introduce new products, processes, or technologies to the manufacturing environment. + Perform high quality analysis consistently. + Find ways to assess and apply innovative ideas to enhance business results. + Successfully lead after-action reviews to identify, document, and share lessons learned. + Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate technical, system, and process improvements. + Perform other duties as needed. **Required Experience and Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. + 4-6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. **Competencies:** + Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline. + Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. + Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. + High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data. + Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products. + Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once. + High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedure. **Other Pertinent Job Information:** _Travel time, how many people they will manage, the work environment, etc._ **_Disclaimer:_** _The information on this description is not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required of employees assigned to this job._ + Occasional exposure to hazardous conditions caused by noise, moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and other conditions associated with a high-traffic production floor. + Must be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time. + Bending, crouching, and stooping may be required. + Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled facilities. + The work environment may be a noisy, high traffic manufacturing production floor. + May be required to work a flexible schedule to include evening and night shifts, weekends, and holidays. + The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day. + The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
