Sr. Technical Program Manager, Alexa Ambient Computing Techs

Key job responsibilities - Work with key stakeholders in product management and executive teams to define software project scope and requirements. - Lead cross functional development on new product from design through delivery. - Drive the project team to deliver results that meet the requirements of project schedule, quality, and stakeholders. - Communicate regularly with senior management and project stakeholders on status, risks and change control. - Manage and maintain relationships with vendors. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor degree with a technical discipline, or equivalent experience required. - 8+ years of relevant work experience in technical program / software project management in a consumer electronics environment. - Excellent communication skills. - Experience defining project, collecting requirements, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new features sets. - Experience analyzing cost/benefit of feature and technology selection. - Cross-team coordination and executive presentation skills are essential. - Demonstrable experience in project management, and coordinating / driving release schedules. Preferred Qualifications - Masters or advanced technical degree desired; - Creative leader with superior analytical and summarizing abilities; - Knowledge with Linux kernel/BSP development experience is a strong plus; - Experience in Linux Yocto will be a plus. - Knowledge in smart speaker development is a strong plus; - Previous working experience as embedded software developer is a plus.
