Sr. Technical Project Manager, Thermal Systems & Attributes

We are currently seeking a Technical Project Manager for the Thermal Systems. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches their work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible to communicate and collaborate primarily with the engineering, program management, and senior management teams.



The Role:

Collaboratively champion, create, maintain and communicate the plans covering thermal attributes and systems Utilize information from waterfall and agile planning tools to develop schedules, define key milestones and identify dependencies Work closely with multiple areas within engineering, including hardware, software, systems, and vehicle test, to define and track clear deliverables for cabin comfort and powertrain cooling Drive the organization of test trips and attribute sign-offs at vehicle level Drive key engineering decisions, highlighting any blockers and critical paths Support development of schedules for various short-term projects as necessary

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical field 6+ years of experience delivering within automotive, thermal systems, or equivalent You are well organized and self-disciplined with the ability to manage tasks requiring completion on a timeline. You can work independently when required Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment with the flexibility to adapt to changing constraints, high expectations and new technologies. Experience working and leading complex multi-system products Experience taking a technical product or system from concept to production Ability to move between summary level and highly detailed schedules and integrate the two. Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills.

 

Advantageous:

PMP certification is a bonus, but relevant experience preferred Understanding of the physics and thermal systems of electric vehicles Proficient in SmartSheets, Jira, Microsoft Project or similar planning tool Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint or similar
