TRD is looking for an initiative-taking and experienced Sr. Technician, Manufacturing.

What you’ll be doing: 

Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and resolve issues in a timely manner to maintain machine uptime that achieves >/=80% OEE across 18+ high precision / high volume, 5-axis CNC machines.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in CNC machines in accordance with manufacturer specifications, blueprints, manuals, schematics, and diagrams.Recover automatic tool changers and automatic pallet changers (ATC/APC) after power failures.Replace ball-screws and spindles, restore machine axis alignment and squareness to factory specifications.Troubleshoot electrical systems, including motors, circuits, and controls.Repair and install electrical components, such as switches, relays, and wiring.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify recurring problems and implement long-term solutions.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts inventory, and equipment history.Comply with all safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

What you’ll bring:

Associate-degree in mechanical engineering or CNC technology from a university or technical college.OEM CNC maintenance certification(s).High School diploma or GED equivalent.5-10 years’ experience with all facets of CNC machine troubleshooting/diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of CNC mills.Experience working with Heidenhain iTNC530/TNC620/TNC640 and Mazak SmoothX CNC controls or similar high-end controls.Strong understanding of CNC machine operation and programming.Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and (PLC) ladder diagrams.In-depth knowledge of manufacturing equipment, systems, and processes.Knowledge of preventive maintenance methodologies and tools.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.Ability to work unsupervised.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Ability to work extended hours and/or overtime based on workload.

The annual base salary range for this position is $80,700.00 - $131,200.00.
