We are currently seeking a Test Engineer to join our team. In this role you will be a change agent by working on the TFM2 contract. TFM2 provides modernization and life cycle support of Information Technology infrastructure that host national implementation of the FAA's Traffic Flow Management (TFM) functionality. It also focuses on long term engineering services and the development of new functional enhancements that increase the capability of Traffic Flow Management.
HOW A SENIOR TEST ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Test and analyze systems development including integration, systems testing, probability testing, field test plans and customer acceptance plans to maintain the credibility/viability of the systemDefines, documents, analyzes, performs, and interprets developmental tests for new and/or modified products or product componentsDocument test discrepancies and author change requests as requiredCommunicating and documenting issues identified during test conductMaintains existing test processes and documentation to ensure adequate record-keeping and knowledge-sharingOrganize and maintain baseline regression procedures in support of operational releasesInvestigates and resolves operational problems in conjunction with engineering and technical personnelSupport Test Team in developing test plans, requirements traceability ,procedures, development, execution, and reportingComplete testing activities in a Java and C++ development environmentsFormally conduct customer-witnessed testing demonstrating system requirements and functionalitySupport Operational patch testing, includes system and adaptation changesSupport Aviation scenario developmentPerforms other duties as assignedWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education:Bachelor’s degree( in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field) Required Experience:Ten (10) years related experienceSecurity Clearance Level:Must be clearable for a position of Public Trust and standard background investigation checkUS Residency RequirementWork Location:Egg Harbor Township, New JerseyRequired Skills and Abilities:Experience using software testing tools such as RTC, RQM, DOORs and SQL queries Analytical and problem-solving skills Experience working with an Agile developmentAdvanced experience in developing test plans/procedures, expected outcomes, and verification statementsClear understanding and experience in the complete life cycle of software in an aviation systems environmentExperience in roles that required demonstration of excellent communication and writing skillsUnderstanding performing scalability and performance testingExperience using UNIXInterpersonal skills to interact with customers and team membersCompetent in the use of formal testing methodologiesAbility to travel when required
