Estimated annual base pay: $118,400.00 (minimum) - $148,000.00 (midpoint) - $177,600.00 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Senior Controls Engineer, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Senior Controls Engineer (level 3) reports to Technical Leadership and focuses on designing and supporting moderately to highly complex control systems and equipment. The role involves mentoring other engineers and supporting process improvements with moderate to low supervision. While independent technical decisions are guided by precedents, guidance is sought for novel or controversial issues. The position may also involve building project-specific relationships with customers, suppliers, and other organizations.
What You Will Be Doing
Performs work which involves conventional engineering practices and standards, but includes a variety of complex features, such as conflicting design requirements, non-standard tools, materials, or equipment and difficult coordination requirements.
Designs, supports, improves and tests moderate to high complexity controls and automation systems and equipment. Ensures designs meet usability and supportability criteria. Independently troubleshoots/analyzes component/system problems.
Leads and implements automated equipment design projects with industry best practices for machine safety, ergonomics, and efficiency/product yields.
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor's degree in arts/sciences required
Greater than 4 years professional engineering experience or a combination of experience and advanced degree required
Ability to create electrical schematics and 3D models
Solid understanding of PLCs and automation. Implements system automation solutions.
Solid understanding of ladder logic, arrays, tags, and programming.
Solid understanding of SCADA
Solid engineering knowledge; solid understanding of component function and system requirements. Understands manufacturing and controls processes, tools and standards.
Proficient use and understanding of design software/tools as appropriate.
Knowledge in multiple types of assembly, test and process control systems. Contributes to platform development.
