Responsibilities:Identify and report issues related to qualityConvene cross-functional groups for the development of action plans to address quality issuesManage resolution of issuesWork closely & effectively with other internal teams (i.e. ITS USQA, ITS Global, External vendors/partners, country/regional QA contacts etc.)Build vendor relationshipsSustain effective relationships with off-shore vendors, perhaps including travel to India to work with the off-shore testing team face-to-face to build trust and strong working relationshipsLead regular meetings to ensure the resources working remotely feel part of the program and are working well with the on-shore team membersManage QA testing for multiple projects/products concurrentlyQA Team ManagementManage multiple teams of Audit Quality Assurance Professionals (includes consultants,onsite/offsite/offshore)Define goals for the team & conduct personal management of the teamRecruit and develop qualified professionalsEstablish standards of measure for the performance of the teamCoordinate the allocation of QA resources across multiple projectsProject ManagementProvide senior management with regular updates of testing statusWork closely with Business QA resources and all other pertinent project team resourcesConsult with project team to define and implement quality goalsProvide clear deliverables to ensure the execution of best practices within all projectsManage defect tracking process, defect reporting, and dissemination of QA informationUnderstand the business impact (technical/non-technical) to member firms/end-users and ensure testing addresses those impacts Manage ongoing processes to achieve high quality products, including but not limited to the following:User acceptance testingIn-Country User Acceptance TestingBusiness User Acceptance TestingFunctional, installer, and regression TestingSpecify information required from users to determine application effectivenessPerformance testing strategyDefect reporting and running Defect Review Meetings for issue resolution planningThorough documentation (i.e. test scripts, test plans, test results) ensuring appropriate test coverageManage the QA budget and ensure QA projects are operating efficientlyIdentify ways to perform testing at lower costs without sacrificing qualityManage testing tools used in the testing processLead a strategy for high levels of test AutomationDesign and implement the use of HP Quality Center as the preferred testing tool for all projectsKeep abreast of Software Test Tools industry to guide a strategy of tool utilization within the organizationPreferred ExperienceTen to fifteen years' experience in IS/IT. At least ten years or recent experience in quality assurance.Minimum two years' experience in Managing Global QA testing teams.Minimum two years' experience in automated testing tools (e.g. UFT, VSTS, Test Complete, WorkSoft Certify)Good understanding of a professional services organizationSolid understanding of quality control best practices, automated testing software, and defect tracking software (i.e. HP ALM Quality Center).Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience providing professional feedback and performance reviews for employeesExperience providing Employee Performance Management CompensationExperience managing financial and budget planningExperience with Data Driven testing methodologiesTechnical Qualifications:Degree in computer sciences>5 Years of experience with hands on testing; minimum 10 years in QAExperience with Performance Center, Test Complete, VSTSHP Quality Center ExpertiseGeneralist in Microsoft Technologies (IIS, MS SQL, SharePoint, Exchange)Generalist in Network and OS Level Concepts and Technologies (Active Directory, SSO, Certificates, WAN-Simulation)Programming: Scripting Language Skills like VB, SQL, Java Script, PowershellLeadership Skills:Vendor and Quality Governance and OversightSolid team effectiveness, organization and planning skillsExperience with leading a team (on-site > 5 and offshore > 15 people)Language Proficiency (English)Presentation SkillsQuick Learner, Self-Driven, Flexible, Dedicated, can work under pressureAble to manage different projects in parallelResource estimating and planningAvailability:Dedication to the projectOn-Site presence 5 days a week, if required weekend or WFHResource required to be on the project for > 6 months (should not move jobs frequently)Ability to travel to India if needed.
