General Duties:
· Responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing testing activities related to complex application and system implementation projects using a formal project management methodology
· Oversee the testing processes and deliverables
· Oversee client/project manager/vendor relations to ensure that service expectations are met
· Involved in the development of test plans for highly complex projects
· Develops detailed test strategies and schedules, including goals, risks, and resource allocation
· Monitors project metrics for significant deviations in quality, testing cost or project schedules
· Monitors all testing related activities and related project risks and issues and manages their resolution and impact
· Assist in developing and improving testing methodologies, procedures and policies
· Coaches and mentors individuals on the project teams and provides feedback on performance to the leadership
Minimum 5 years of work experience in the following area:
· Strong skills in leading and prioritizing tasks for a group of testers
· Experience as test lead for large projects
· Experience delivering complex enterprise application systems, distributed systems
· Project Management Institute’s standards and terminology
· Experience working with offsite teams
· Effectively work in a collaborative environment
· Efficiently work with leadership, analysts, dev team and business team on an ongoing basis
· UNIX Skills
· Any of Oracle, Sybase, SQL server, DB2 skills
· Strong in SQL Queries
Preferred Skills:
· Health Care experience strongly preferred
· Facets onlines and Facets batch process preferred
· Knowledge of Facets data Model preferred
· Knowledge of XML, HIPAA EDI Transactions preferred
· Testing Tools – IBM Rational Tools Suite preferred – 1.e Performance tester, Functional Tester, Clear Quest
· Client experience
