**Job Title: TIG Welder - 2nd Shift**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder for our 2nd shift. The TIG Welder will perform TIG welding techniques during the assembly process of diversified metal assemblies to meet customer drawing specifications and work order instructions.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform TIG welding techniques for fabrication.
+ Perform MIG and/or Arc welding techniques for fabrication.
+ Ensure weld operations are performed in accordance with established specifications, including production work orders and drawings.
+ Conduct quality self-inspections using drawings, fixtures, jigs, and measuring tools.
+ Meet established objectives.
+ Handle parts and operate equipment safely to avoid damage to others and production.
+ Participate in new product introduction and suggest improvements for production and quality.
+ Ensure product and work order information is accurate.
+ Maintain workplace cleanliness and general area upkeep.
+ Perform routine welding machine maintenance as outlined in the maintenance procedure manual.
+ Keep the workplace safe and free of dangerous obstacles.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 5 years of TIG welding experience
+ Experience welding heavy steel and stainless steel
+ Experience with new build welds and repair welds
+ Proficient in reading blueprints
+ Experience with MIG and Arc welding
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School or GED diploma
+ Mid to high skill level in TIG stainless steel welding
+ Ability to weld freehand and out of position with TIG weld
+ Manual dexterity
+ Troubleshooting skills
+ Ability to work as part of a team
+ Adaptability to various situations

**Work Environment**
This position will work in a manufacturing setting with exposure to heavy equipment, machinery, and related noise levels. The role primarily involves standing for up to six or more hours per day, with some duties requiring sitting for short periods. The position also requires the capability to lift 0-50 lbs in proper ergonomic positions.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Binghamton, New York.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
