Amazon Robotics (AR) is seeking a talented and motivated Sr. Supply Chain Systems TPM to join the Robotics Supply Chain (RSC) team and to lead the development and adoption of new supply chain and logistics system functionalities. The TPM will support the launch of new modules and system enhancements that span across the Logistics WMS/TMS systems, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Robotics Supply Chain Planning applications. These include a focus on functionalities within a third-party logistics (3PL) environment, EDI/ API integration projects, database support for dashboards and analytics. The TPM will collaborate with RDE/TD site operations, RSC, business applications product management, application and software engineering, and infrastructure teams while navigating a fast paced project environment. The TPM will own the planning and execution for all logistics system launch deliverables across RSC and will be the single-threaded leader for RSC logistics cross-organizational initiatives. The TPM must possess the ability to build strong relationships with customers and operate in a dynamic and fast paced environment. This is a large scope, high visibility role that requires a strong executive presence. This role will report to the Sr. Manager, RSC Logistics and will be responsible for the Business Process Management, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) processes and tools, EDI/API integration. The TPM will require solid understanding of supply chain and logistics processes, ERP system capabilities and associated business utilization (currently utilize Oracle EBS), and interconnectivity to upstream and downstream applications (e.g. Agile PLM). The Sr. TPM role for Supply Chain Systems will own all aspects of the ERP system including the integrity of the data. Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities Actively support and foster a culture of inclusion. Lead RSC logistics technical/ system initiatives and maintain on-time delivery to program’s success criteria. Utilize strong technical judgement to inform stakeholders of technology and business trade-offs. Partner with both IT, RSC, operations, to understand current and future system limitations with respect to scaling logistics system capability with internal and external 3PL providers. Prepare and facilitate business requirements documents to ensure RSC customer needs are met through system enhancement. Partner with RSC stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions that integrate across applications, systems and platforms to achieve business objectives. Lead large scale integration projects and automation of business tools related to the ERP process (TMS, WMS, EDI/ API, Business Analytics, Network Modeling, dashboards, and other tools) including the associated database management. Develop and monitor metrics to report on process health and data integrity. Develop a continuous improvement strategy in the Logistics planning and execution processes Provide guidance to ERP user community and other Amazon organizations on ERP best practices. Develop and manage business process mapping, process gap identification, and gap reconciliation. Support acceptance testing and adoption for customizations and application enhancements. About the team The RSC Program Management for Robotics Supply Chain works across the Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics (FTR) department to enable manufacturing scalability and adaptability to best serve the Amazon Deployment Network. Through strategic thought leadership, we evaluate supply constraints across the product portfolio to deliver solutions that optimize resource allocation and maximize customer responsiveness. Our team’s holistic and peculiar mindset allows us to develop the manufacturing leaders of tomorrow while delivering results for our customers. Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of technical product or program management experience - 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience - 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience - 3+ years of software development experience - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building - processes and coordinating release schedules Preferred Qualifications - 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience - Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules - Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership - Engineering or Business Master’s degree. - PMP Certification is a plus. - APICS Certification is a plus. - Experience with PLM systems preferred, especially Oracle Agile. - Experience with MES systems preferred, especially Proplanner. - 3+ years technical team leadership. - Multidisciplinary background including IT configuration and business requirement development. - Expertise implementing a new Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) module or Warehouse Management System (WMS) Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
