Job Description Summary

As a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Portfolio Advisory Group, the Sr. Transaction Manager will be dedicated to one or more of Cushman & Wakefield’s most dynamic client accounts. In this role, you will collaborate closely with peers and the account team to support a client's strategic real estate vision. As the Sr. Transaction Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day transaction management oversight for a complex real estate portfolio . Responsibilities include: diligent oversight of transactions from initiation through execution, program management of stakeholder inputs, and oversight of account team support including, but not limited to, transaction mangers, transaction coordinators, and/or transaction analysts. The Sr. Transaction Manager shall also be accountable for client budgeting, internal revenue management, and adherence to account and transaction level KPIs.

Job Description

Essential functions and responsibilities

General:

Implement portfolio plans with client’s real estate goals and objectives in mindOptimize and integrate portfolio with clients’ workplace strategyCollaborate with brokerage professionals to ensure effective negotiations of business terms for a wide variety of transactions including lease, sale, build-to-suit, sublease and purchaseCollaborate with a broad range of internal contributors and client stakeholdersManage the flow of key documentation and client communicationsWork with the clients’ operational groups at all levels to identify real estate needsPrepare, review, and interpret financial analysis/accounting conceptsReport all transaction revenueEnsure accuracy of all transaction reports and client materialsPresent transaction activity to client/C&W managementParticipate in all client/C&W business reviewsLead and/or facilitate client meetingsProvide supervision for transactional team members and others team members supporting the transaction activity of the relationship

Process Management:

Process and program management development and implementationImplement standardized processes that create maximum efficiencies and add valueOversee development and continuous improvement of standard forms and proceduresDevelop performance measurements for internal benchmarkingCreate and implement account operations manual/playbook

Transaction Management:

Oversee transaction service deliveryCoordinate and manage transaction teamsOversee/manage field broker selection processDetermine clients' needs and communicate project parametersOversee negotiations and management of transactionsCollaborate with portfolio administration team to help ensure data accuracyCoordinate legal review of all client leased/owned documentsEnsure accuracy of financial data and reportingResolve landlord/tenant disputesCoordinate client site visits/market toursEnsure all state real estate standards are metOversee budgeting and revenue tracking of all transactionsManage client rebate account 

Strategic Planning:

Lead the development of strategic plans and provide strategic real estate advice to clientsIdentify occupancy cost savings strategiesDevelop occupancy expansion/contraction strategiesEnsure implementation of agreed upon strategyProduce and/or support business case developmentPrepare reports, data and financial analyses toward the completion of a strategic planExecute strategies by developing action plansQuantify and report on occupancy cost savings and value add analyses

Important Education

Bachelor’s degree required in any related field

Important Experience

7+ years real estate experience in transaction management or corporate real estateExperience with high-level, complex transaction management including experience in lease negotiations and strategy

Additional eligibility qualifications

Must obtain and hold state real estate salesperson licenseLEED, MCR, CCIM designations are a plusAbility to read and understand commercial real estate transaction documents, such as a lease, purchase & sale agreement, sublease agreement, SNDA, estoppel, assignment agreement, etc.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $122,315.00 - $143,900.00
