Sr. Transaction Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage Client Relationships

Assume key transaction responsibilities for strategic clientsProvide advice on client transactionsAttend and lead regular client meetings and conference callsInteract with Client’s strategic business partners and stakeholdersImprove client transaction management processesWork directly with clients and team members to resolve financial model, transaction and landlord issuesManage building tours with the clientManage transaction reporting to the clients

Transactions Support

Independently manages and executes complex, large, and mid-size transactions with high level of proficiency and knowledgeDelivers measurable value by negotiating favorable economic and flexible lease terms for the client.Assist Client in completing a large number of transactions annually and independently execute lease and capital transactions of all types and sizes while adhering to JLL’s and the Client’s processes and standards for expertise and professionalismActively monitor progress of assigned transactions as well as those of direct reportsCollect client requirements, obtain market data, review market reports, retain real estate broker partners nationally, oversee site selection and site evaluation, create requests for proposals (RFP’s), negotiate letters of intent, leases, purchase and sale agreements, and prepare approval packages for client’s senior managementDevelop occupancy cost savings strategies, develop and evaluate alternative occupancy solutions and financial structures and refine existing transaction processes and proceduresReview commission invoices for accuracy and progress on payment; review transaction information within JLL’s systems for accuracy and assure it is updated regularly

Revenue Growth

Helping the Account Director expand account services and participate in business development opportunitiesParticipating in opportunities to develop new business with Account Directors and other key stakeholdersHelping drive revenue and manage an account’s adjusted growth margin year-to-year growthProactively manage, identify and present to client unforeseen transaction opportunities

Talent Management

Coaching and developing team members including attracting and retaining top talentAssist junior transaction team members with complicated transactions/ financial analysis / modeling

KNOWLED SKILLS & ABILITIES

Knowledge of real estate leases and accounting proceduresAnalytical ability, both financial and qualitativeAdvanced computer skills (MS Office, including Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook)Presentation skillsModeling complex occupancy scenarios, including multi-facility consolidations, city plans and metro area consolidationsAttention to detailOrganization SkillsWell-developed verbal and written communication skillsNegotiation, Leasing and Interpersonal skillsWork independently or within a teamAbility to build relationships and interact effectively with business and clientsHealthcare experience preferredPortfolio Strategy experience desired

EDUCATION / TRAINING

Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Business, Finance or Real Estate; Master’s degree preferred5 years of relevant work experience with at least 2 years as a Transaction ManagerReal estate brokerage or salesperson license desired

Estimated total compensation for this position:

124,800.00 – 180,900.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
