Sr. Treasury & Pension Analyst

You are energized by solving problems using strong organizational and analytical reasoning skills. You take pride in maintaining daily accountability for the company’s cash flow and assists with projects, audits and vendor fee analysis. You are passionate about research and resolve service issues while building great relationships with various banks and internal teams across accounting, tax and finance.

We are a fast-moving team responsible for the management of the financial assets, pension and resources of Weyerhaeuser Company worldwide. You will be part of a team that oversees short-term cash positioning, investments and forecasting of cash as it pertains to our overall capital structure and corporate objectives. You will also be responsible for assisting the Assistant Treasurer with the management and oversight of the corporate pension plan including asset performance monitoring and cash disbursements.

In this role, you will work with other members of the Treasury Department to oversee our investment management, bank account signature process, tax payment application and treasury workstation. You will collaborate with team members throughout Weyerhaeuser Accounting, Tax and Finance reconciling broker statements while calculating and communicating investment earnings. You will contribute tactical ideas in a team environment to always help improve existing processes and services.

Key Functions:

Works closely with the Treasury team in daily accountability for the Company’s cash flow, including reconciliation of cash and payment processingMonitor daily activity as it relates to entries made by general accountingResponsible for investment management, including reconciling broker statements and calculating/ communicating investment earningsResearch and resolve service issues and maintain professional relationships with various banks and internal departments including accounting, tax and financeMaintain bank account signature process, file management system, tax payment application and treasury workstation.Performs bank and other vendor fee analysisAssists with projects and audits

Pension Duties:

Create and edit PowerPoint presentations, including excel tables and linked databasesAssist with internal modeling of future expected returns, cash flows and changes in asset allocationCoordinate and provide support for special company-wide pension related projects with human resources, accounting teams and Outside Chief Investment Officer (OCIO)Create internal monthly summary of global public marketsAssist with preparation of board presentation slides related to pensionManage administrative duties related to the WY pension, including creating and monitoring a repository for important documentsMaintain detailed calendar of milestones and payments related to pensionAssist with preparation of materials for Investment Committee meetingsLead effort to modernize and streamline pension data and report management (OpX, create efficiencies around existing processes)Coordinate, maintain and streamline communications between pension team members and outside vendors and consultants.Manage information flow between all stakeholders.Schedule and coordinate both internal and external meetings and appointments for the pension team, investment committee meetings, projects and consulting firms.Other duties as assigned

Hybrid Location: This role will be based at our Corporate HQ in downtown Seattle, Washington, where we have a 3 day per week in office requirement.

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $79,300 - $119,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 7% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours
