Our client requires a Senior UX Designer to join a project meant to modernize and increase the effectiveness of the end user experience for high-volume, operationally intensive programs that connect rural and remote communities in need to time-limited physician coverage in Ontario.

Work is hybrid with up to 3 days in office per week in Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities

Deliverables Include: 

Create effective, user friendly and visually appealing user interfaces for the new/updated application. Create user interfaces based on user interaction and performance. Conduct user research, interviews, and translate them into user flows, user journey maps, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences. Design the overall functionality of the product, ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing. Design application interface with AODA compliance. Gather user feedback to configure existing interfaces. Mandatory Requirements 7+ years’ experience in creating effective, user friendly and visually appealing application interfaces. 7+ years’ experience in designing user interfaces for various projects such as web and mobile applications. 7+ years’ experience in user centered design approach, rapid testing and iterate the design. 7+ years’ experience in conducting user research, interviews, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. 7+ years’ experience designing and delivering wireframes, user stories, user flows, user journeys, mockups and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces. 7+ years’ experience using Agile Methodologies and identifying design problems and devising elegant solutions 7+ years’ experience in making strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features. 7+ years’ experience in gathering user feedback to configure existing interfaces. Desirable Requirements Knowledge and experience in creating effective, user friendly and visually appealing application interfaces. Experience in designing the overall functionality of the product, ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing. Experienced with user research, interviews, and translation into user flows, user journey maps, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences. Experience with AODA designs. Experience with designing and delivering wireframes, user stories, user flows, user journeys, mock-ups and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces. Experience with Angular and Angular Material designs.
