Sr. Workday Integrations Developer

We’re hiring for a highly skilled and experienced Workday Developer to join our Corporate Functions Technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Workday integrations of all types (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, XSLT) as well as APIs and BIRT layouts. This role will involve working closely with various HR groups, payroll team, and other technology teams as needed to resolve issues and build integrations to deliver files as requested by various associates throughout the company. The candidate must be able to work through and solve complex problems with little to no other technical Workday assistance available.


A day in the life as a Developer…

Work with appropriate teams to gather requirements and create design documents for any new Workday integrations that need to be built.Provide estimates for any new Workday integration that needs to be built when requested.Align with the appropriate teams on the requirements of the new Workday integrations.Build new Workday integrations requested based on the aligned requirements and adhering to the Crate and Barrel Workday integrations standards.Update the corresponding issue tracking and workflow management (Jira) tickets related to the new Workday integrations including up-to-date notes on progress, calculated fields that are created, unit testing performed, and anything related to action that is being taken while working to create the new Workday integration.Be prepared to provide a demo of the new Workday integration and work with the appropriate teams to get user acceptance and approval of the new Workday integration.Migrate the new integration to production and monitor results of at least the first run of the new integration in production.Implement feedback loops to refine models, ROI Measurement and strategies based on new data and changing business conditions.Generate and report strategic insights to support high-level decision-making.Train team members on the use of the new tool and advanced analytics techniques.Provide documentation and share best practices for optimal tool usage.

What you’ll bring to the table… 

Ability to work both at a detailed level as well as summarize findings and extrapolate knowledge to make strong recommendations for change.Ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and recommend solutions.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with large, complex datasets.Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.


We’d love to hear from you if you have… 

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent.Workday certified with 5+  years experience as a Workday Integration Developer/ Engineer including experience with EIB, Core Connectors, Studio and/or XSLT as well as APIs and BIRT layouts. Experience with Workday Security, Workday authentication policies and Encryption
