We work backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. Team Intro: The service-aligned Storage Specialist SA team is an overlay that provides deep expertise to our generalist account teams around the world. As a service-aligned Storage Specialist SA, you will focus on one or two services from our storage portfolio and become a deep expert on it. Our team engages in direct customer interaction, builds and delivers thought leadership content, and scales the organization by enabling other people to become experts. We work closely with the service teams and curate high quality customer feedback that helps to improve our services. Key job responsibilities • Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap. • Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges. • Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc. • Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best in class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives. • Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide. Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures. About the team • Why AWS? Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
