The Role:

Cognizant is seeking a Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Architect who will be responsible for designing implementing and managing cloud-based solutions using Azure technologies. You will work closely with various teams to ensure the efficient and secure deployment of cloud resources. Your expertise in Azure administration and cloud-native security will be crucial in optimizing our cloud infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure services and the ability to drive innovation in cloud solutions.

In your first few weeks in this role, you can expect to:

Provide guidance, standards, and recommendations to team Identify, communicate and mitigate the risks in the project Work with presales team to review the technical solutions Design / Provisioning of Azure Infrastructure Define standards and processes for Azure provisioning Leverage automation script/Manage script changes

To apply for this role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

Extensive experience in Microsoft Azure/AWS Design and review Azure Infrastructure architecture Create solution design artifacts for Azure Infrastructure includes Azure Kubernetes Services Strong understanding and experience in micro services based implementations in Docker / Kubernetes or Cloud based PaaS solutions Experience in Setting up Disaster Recovery for Cloud Environments Experience in migrating the Infrastructure Workloads (VMs, Applications, Databases, etc.) to Azure Experience in Recording Machine IOPS and Allocating VM based on client workloads Experience in Network monitoring using tools like Fiddler and Wireshark, Experience in Azure Backup strategy, Experience in setting up Domain Controllers, Configuring AD Application Proxy Experience in Designing micro services architects with Dockers, Azure Containers, and Azure Kubernetes Services, LDAP, ADFS, Certificate Services ,OWIN, Graph API, Connector Space, Metaverse, setting up AD Synchronization rules would be added an Advantage Design and Migrate the OnPrem Infrastructure to Azure VM provisioning, PowerShell scripting, Dynamic and Static routing, Configuring Microsoft Internal / External Load Balancers Taking care of cloud transformations end to end, including Assessment and Migration Configuring VNets, Subnets, Configuring Azure Active Directory Sync, Configuring Network Security Groups (NGS), Access Control Lists (ACL), configuring NICs, configuring High Availability of SQL Servers.
