Sr.Finance Manager
Description We are offering a consulting opportunity for a Sr. Finance Manager at our client's location in the East Bay. This role is particularly suitable for those who have a keen interest in the Food & Beverage industry. a strategic mindset, and the ability to influence teams while delivering measurable outcomes As a Sr. Finance Manager, your focus will be on managing financial disciplines, contributing to strategic planning, and offering financial advisory to the executive team. Responsibilities • Serve as a financial advisor to the executive team, contributing to the strategic planning process and organizational financial discipline. • Manage the process of advanced financial modeling and analysis to support new product launches, pricing initiatives, and decision-making related to capital investments. • Engage in pricing analysis to refine strategies based on market dynamics and organizational goals. • Evaluate and implement strategies for financial risks and opportunities optimization. • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. • Develop detailed SKU, customer, and channel-level profitability models to recommend margin improvement strategies. • Provide support in ERP implementation project and collaborate on troubleshooting efforts for process improvement. • Recommend and Implement financial tools or systems to optimize reporting, budgeting, and analytical approaches. • Collaborate with the Controller to enhance accounting processes such as AP, AR, and cost analysis. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving innovation in financial workflows, and adopting best practices. • Present monthly financial results, highlighting actionable insights, risk assessments, and opportunities to influence key decisions. • Support month-end close Requirements • 8-10 years experience in a finance role, preferably in the food & beverage, consumer product goods or manufacturing industry • MBA, CAP, CFA a plus • Demonstrated ability to lead budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive key initiatives independently. • Proven expertise leading and mentoring a team by identifying growth opportunities, cultivating professional development. and setting clear performance metrics, • Prior experience with Oracle ERP system and past involvement in ERP implementation is highly desirable • Advanced Excel such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH and Power BI • Excellent problem-solving and exceptional communication skills, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights. • Proven capabilities in process management and motivating teams. • Proficient in Finacial modeling, Forecasting and Pricing Analysis • Strong skills in Analytics and ability to Analyze Trends and Analyze Variance • Experience in preparing Annual Budget and Annual Forecasts • Proficient in preparing Monthly financial reports including Board of Directors reporting Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
