Our client is on the hunt for an individual ready to grow out their own team and help improve DevOps works flows for their SaaS shop! This position will be full-time and operating in a hybrid format out of their brand-new high-rise office space in the booming Sandy Springs area. You will go into the office 3 days per week to help scale a greenfield DevOps/SRE team for the company.

At their core, this company creates software to understand data analytics across the energy and utility management industry. This new team’s sole purpose is to add Datadog into their infrastructure to help monitor their new SaaS products, establish automation workflows with Terraform, and overall help to manage/migrate their infrastructure fully to AWS. As the leader, you will split your time between hands-on work and managerial duties.

Required Skills & Experience Prior leadership experience as a Lead Engineer or Engineering Manager Strong expertise working with AWS cloud infrastructure and its services Ability to manage a greenfield team, and help scale from the ground up Knowledge of Terraform for automation efforts Experience and knowledge of Datadog for observability/monitoring Previous SaaS expertise Desired Skills & Experience Ability to commute to Sandy Springs office weekly BS in CS Ability to build CI/CD pipelines from scratch Comfortability working in a smaller team environment Lead from the front and ownership mentality What You Will Be Doing
