• Minimum 7 years of experience in production db management
• 6+ years working experience on Windows Oracle 11G/12C and higher versions
• 5+ years working experience in advanced db management, backup/recovery and tuning.
* oracle database installation,creation,configuration and fine tuning as per the application/business requirements.
• Troubleshooting issues related to cluster, db corruption,oracle internal errors,data guard and DR solutions.
*DB capacity planning, space management, deep dive and health check and recommendations.
* automation : identifying use cases, script development , testing and implementation.
• Responsible for resolving all technical incidents escalated by the L-2 team
• Analyze Change Request; review change requests with the client & stake holders; validate the information and execute - High complexity; Critical & Emergency Changes
• Sound knowledge on RMAN, Cluster, Data replication and Disaster Recovery and advanced tuning.
* Experience in oracle data guard setup,fixing sync issues , switchover and failover, managing and troubleshooting issues.
* creating and managing SOPs for L1 and L2 tasks.
* Database performance tuning and sql tuning and analysing AWR,ASH report and tracing etc.
* Enable data archiving and purging.
* Database auditing & security policies.
• Participate in Problem Management review meetings and provide root cause analysis
• Ability to handle and drive Incident Review bridges by identifying potential Problems; recommend solutions to be implemented
• Responsible for SLA compliance
• Should possess work experience on migration/upgradation projects
• Basic knowledge on scripting and automation
• Communicate effectively (verbal and written) and clearly within the team and with all the stakeholders Good knowledge on ITIL process
• Technical Certification a must on any of the latest oracle version with cluserting and replication technology.
• Possess ITIL certification
• On call schedule and week end change schedule participation
• Flexible to work on 24/7 rotational shifts
