Job MissionThe Head of Export Control and Customs is primarily responsible for ensuring synergies among all Business areas/Business lines, handling our imports and exports activities efficiently and proactively, and actively exploring new opportunities and process optimization to maximize the company's benefits. Responsibilities1. Manage and monitor the customs team. Ensure all import and export activities comply with compliance and customs laws/regulations2. Lead the team to play an important role as "shared service" for three business lines, cooperate with all related stakeholders to fulfil internal customer satisfaction3. Lead the team to join projects or think about news tools/ideas, in order not to miss the chance which will bring more benefits to the organization4. Train management and staff regularly about general I/E knowledge, to keep up-to-date knowledge and ECC awareness in the organization5. Keep in touch with the customs, CIQ and other related authorities, obtain the new regulation reforming or changing, propose to management if there is potential impact 6. Cooperate with customs and coordinate on-site inspection by authorities7. Try to influence customs related policies, e.g. through lobbying work within associations8. AEO representative of the company, sustain the advance AEO certificate Requirements1. At least 10 years working experience in importation/exportation management or in related functional areas, the work experience at multi-national company will be the plus2. Bachelor or above in logistics, business administration, international trade or other related majors3. At least 5 years of manager experience, and proven track record of leading a mature customs team to deal with complex global business model4. Good experience at the relationship management/handling with customs, CIQ and other relevant government officers5. Well understand on the customs laws/regulations, strong business acumen on the potential policy change/trend6. Ability to identify with senior managers on the potential business impact from the policy change7. Solid knowhow on the advanced AEO certificate renew process8. Good English communication skills9. Persuasive, open minded, broad global view to work well along with all the stakeholdersOur global team:
