The targeted hiring range for this position is $11.44 - $14.90 per hour depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and job location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, competencies, experience, and relevant education, training or a combination of these things and market demand. Job Description

Join our team at the St. James Hotel! We’re looking for a dedicated and friendly Public Space Cleaning Attendant to help maintain a positive image of our property by delivering excellent cleanliness and guest service. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring our guests enjoy a welcoming, comfortable, and immaculate stay.

Responsibilities:

Clean guest rooms and public areas, including windows, doors, floors, fixtures, and furniture, according to standard procedures.Restock amenities, supplies, and linens in guest rooms and bathrooms.Maintain and organize cleaning carts and supplies.Inspect and report any needed repairs (e.g., light bulb replacement, fixture issues).Remove trash, dirty linens, and room service items.Perform floor care, vacuum carpets, and assist with deep cleaning projects.Respond promptly and kindly to guest requests and inquiries about hotel features and local attractions.Assist with seasonal cleaning duties, such as steam cleaning carpets and "super cleaning" as required.Support the hotel's reputation by taking ownership of tasks and exploring new ways to enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications

Ability to understand and follow safety guidelines, operating instructions, and procedure manuals: 6-12 months of related experience preferred.
