CTG is seeking to fill a Stability Technician opening for our client in Pleasanton, CA. Location: Pleasanton, CA Duration: 6 months Pay Rate: $27.30 per hour Duties: Support the Business Units by collaborating with PRD and Process Development Scientists in planning and executing projects for successful product launches. Independently define and complete work assignments, providing timely project updates to the business team. Anticipate and communicate potential issues, collaborating with Team Lead and Scientists to create alternative solutions to prevent project delays. Execute and coordinate experiment and trial report results through observation, recording, and analysis. Perform analytical tests and/or sample preparation in lab or pilot plant, ensuring strict adherence to SOP documents, repetition, and validation. Extract data and provide scientists with timely guidance on results. Maintain housekeeping and adhere to all safety rules and regulations. Continuously drive improvements in processes and safety/environmental systems. Ensure availability of required supplies to deliver project work on time, including ordering raw and packaging materials and managing inventories onsite and with third-party logistics providers. Prepare all necessary materials for process trials and actively maintain the CisPro material tracking system. Ensure availability and proper functioning of equipment to meet project timelines, identifying and solving issues in collaboration with the Team Lead or third-party vendor. Independently perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment, leading repair work as needed in the assigned area. Share knowledge and experience by cross-training other Specialists, Team Leads, and Scientists on established processes and procedures. Support WCO processes through shared leadership in continuous improvement work and execution of annual work plans. Contribute data and assist with the analysis and reporting of Team metrics. Actively participate in weekly Ops meetings and contribute to report-outs for learnings, issues, and suggestions for improvements. Skills: Strong organization and time management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.). Ability to work collaboratively with multi-functional teams and internal/external partners. Ability to drive a forklift (training will be provided). Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and ascending/descending stairs. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in R&D/Manufacturing roles. Experience using CISPro or other inventory management systems. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; degree in a related field is a plus.
