Are you ready to join our team as a Stabilizer Multi-Skilled Operator II? As a contract worker, you will have the opportunity to work full-time for a year in Kenedy, Texas, United States. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in Natural Gas Liquids (NGL), HSE, and pumps. Optional requirements include Oil and Gas Industry experience, Fractionation Principles and Practices, Gas and Liquid Measurement, Product Drying and Sweetening, Mechanics and Instrumentation, and Laptop and Software Proficiency. Role Overview Ensure safe and efficient operation of all condensate stabilizing facilities Monitor the operation of stabilizer and equipment to ensure the most efficient operation Work a twelve-hour rotating shift, with occasional overtime during facility turnarounds, upsets, start-ups, or when workload demands Load and unload condensate and natural gas liquid (NGL) trucks, run all condensate samples, and perform necessary tests Operate oil stabilizer trains, compressors, vapor compressor unit, fuel fired boilers, condensate unloading pumps, condensate transfer pumps, positive displacement pipeline pumps, and LACT units Collaborate with Operations and I&E in optimizing plant instrumentation controls Troubleshoot operations problems, maintain housekeeping, and keep accurate records Build strong teamwork with all groups within the EagleFord Operations and 3rd party truck hauling partners Inspect tanks and attached piping components for leaks or unusual conditions and take corrective action Access remote locations to check rotating equipment levels, pressures, and flow on separation equipment Gauge tanks for sale or transfer of crude oil and water Utilize electronic remote well supervision to optimize production and reduce safety & environmental impact Enter daily volumes, well tests, downtime, and injection information into a computer database Monitor daily production inputs into electronic data capturing software and compare input data with output data for correctness Report production losses, causes, and resolutions into a computer database Monitor and optimize production and costs within area of control for new wells and facilities Perform minor hands-on production equipment repairs Maintain chemical injection rates as necessary Enter compressor downtime report into a computer database Monitor and optimize compressor runtime and costs within area of control Operate a company-provided vehicle to perform job duties Complete regulatory work including agency testing requirements, change of status, tank & meter numbering for new facilities Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures outlined in the ConocoPhillips Management System Work 7 days on and 7 days off Rotate between day and night shifts every 7 days Skills & Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry Willingness and ability to work in temperature extremes or adverse weather conditions Ability to work in several different geographic locations every single day Ability to work both in and out of a company-owned vehicle Willingness to wear appropriate special safety equipment Ability to climb heights up to 30 feet to gauge tanks Physical ability to walk, bend, stoop, lift, push, and pull Experience using hand tools for minor repairs Willingness to work weekends and be on call Ability to travel up to 10% of the time on a yearly basis Associate's degree / Trade Certification or higher in Production Technology, Process Technology or related technical field or foreign equivalent Intermediate understanding of fractionation principles and practices Basic understanding of gas and liquid measurement and product drying and sweetening Basic knowledge of mechanics and instrumentation within a plant Ability to utilize a laptop and applicable software programs Ability to prepare accurate and legible reports Ability to read and understand production and financial reports Ability to react to visual and aural signals, alarms, and instructions Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions Innovative problem-solving skills Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred or equivalent experience ITIL or relevant Microsoft certifications advantageous Minimum 3 years of experience in network maintenance, infrastructure planning, Cisco networking, Windows server maintenance, Microsoft networking technologies, and Office 365 management Pay & Benefits Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience Opportunity to work full-time for a year in Kenedy, Texas, United States Unlock your potential with Airswift.
