Your New Role: 
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to support our Oracle EPM suite.  The Product Manager facilitates the interface between business needs and functional capabilities and enable teams to deliver solutions within appropriate resource constraints. Not only will the role require managing program engagements to completion, but it will also ensure daily business operations are maintained. Finding innovative ways to execute and optimize the operational tasks will also be critical. 

 

Your Role Accountabilities: 

OPERATIONS/PROJECT MANAGEMENT 

Serve as the functional lead for the respective system modules of significant scope and complexity and a significant contributor to complementary modules that directly impact the business track.  

Project management and oversight of new system launches, new functionality, and/or enhancements impacting the financial process including design, configuration, test scenario/script creation, testing, related execution, and adoption of components.  

Direct defect resolution and enhancement technical development and set related priorities for third party partners supporting the financial process.  

STRATEGY 

Represent functional area on cross-functional execution teams needed to ensure financial systems strategy and project work completion.  

Recommend long-term data solutions in accordance with an understanding of the business needs, and strategic success of the organization. 

Engage other technical subject matter experts across the WBD enterprise to solicit input, feedback, perspective, and (as appropriate) assistance. 

ANALYTICS  

Communication of project timelines, Key Performance Indicators, and status to Financial Services leadership groups.  

Develop comprehensive performance analysis of business processes and review ways of improvement. 

Actively participate in stakeholder meetings with the goal of understanding all major projects and initiatives planned 

Qualifications & Experiences: 

BS in Computer Science, MIS, business, or equivalent education/training/experience 

BS in Computer Science, Analytics, Operations Research, MIS, or equivalent education/training/experience. Advanced degree and/or certifications preferred. 

8+ years of product management experience including experience in interacting with business users to analyze the business process and discovering requirements. 

Deep functional knowledge around financial systems and processes. 

Ability to understand customer urgency and sensitivity of the problem, with strong verbal and written communication skills to speak confidently and communicate clearly with customers. 

Superb relationship building skills 

Work collaboratively w/small teams 

Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently 

 

Not Required but preferred experience 

MBA 

1+ years of post-MBA experience in a related field (entertainment or entertainment) 

Knowledge of and passion for media, entertainment, and technology industries (including key players, growth trends and drivers, new media models, industry structure, etc.) 

Experience working in a national or global company 

Comfortable in working in highly iterative and somewhat unstructured environment
