Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training. This position is located within the Scheduling & Estimating Section of the Design Division, Carson City. Incumbent is responsible for aiding in development and maintenance of the five year project work plan. Duties include updating projects lists, identifying schedule and funding issues, and compiling recommendations to develop subsequent changes to the plan. The position assists with the maintenance of project information in the Department's Project Scheduling and Management System and in the development and review of the engineers cost estimate in the Masterworks system. The position also assists in the development of conceptual designs including roadway geometrics, quantities, and cost estimates for Department scoping efforts.
