Staff Accountant, AMD (Malvern, PA)

The Staff Accountant position is responsible for all aspects of the G/L accounts for Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics, including preparation of journal entries, financial statements, and account analyses.

Your role:

Assist with the month end closing procedures, including but not limited to preparing and posting journal entries and reconciling accounts.  Complete monthly accounts receivable roll forward analysis, and work with the revenue cycle management team to explain variances.Organize incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely and accurate distribution to relevant departments and company lockboxes.Deposit checks into company accounts.Cash reporting and assisting with various accounting or finance projects as assigned, such as data analysis, process improvements, and software implementations.Assisting in consolidations and internal financial statement preparation and assisting in providing follow-up and documentation for the monthly financial statement review.Performing account analyses and account roll forwards.Assisting with the preparation of schedules and gathering of support for the internal and external auditors.Ensuring compliance with SOX control requirements, corporate accounting policies and procedures.Documenting policies, procedures and workflow of assigned areas of responsibility.

You're the right fit if:

2+ years of related experience; public accounting experience preferred, understanding of accounting processes, procedure and internal controls.Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Excel is a must.Effective communication skills (written & verbal). Customer service oriented. Ability to work independently and take ownership of areas of responsibility.Ability to manage competing priorities.You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office/Remote position.
