This position is full time: Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week. This role is based at our regional headquarters: 3125 Veterans Memorial Hwy Suite 2, Ronkonkoma NY, 11779

 

The target compensation for this position is $75000 annually based on a 40-hour workweek, which includes an hourly rate of $36.06 / hr.

Responsibilities

Starting as an Accountant, you are executing accounting procedures and principles that will lead to financial statement, preparation, and financial analysis.

Prepare financial statementsPerform branch evaluationsAssemble bank reconciliation and account scheduleParticipate in a timely and accurate month-end closing processPrepare journal entries, expense accruals and allocationsAssist personnel with questions regarding accounting policies and proceduresAnalyze income statements fluctuations Provide process improvement and cost saving ideasManaging financial records, assist in financial reportingSupport budgeting and forecastingConduct audits and ensure complianceCollaborate with other departmentsMay be responsible for processing T&E reports, account classification and reimbursement amountsMay be responsible for preparation and sales and other tax returnsPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.Must have an intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.Must be flexible to relocate for potential promotional opportunities.Must be willing to accept target annual compensation of $75000.The ability to operate a motor vehicle is a function of this position.
