Staff Accountant
Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in Southlake, Texas, for a Staff Accountant. As part of our team, your main function will be to support the financial operations of the company. This will include tasks such as maintaining precise financial records, preparing reports, and performing necessary accounting tasks. Responsibilities: • Ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications • Maintain precise customer credit records • Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as needed • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and preparing reports • Conduct essential accounting tasks such as reconciliations, data entry, and financial analysis • Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries • Maintain and update the general ledger accurately • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies • Reconcile subsidiary accounts and ensure all transactions align with the general ledger • Prepare and review basic financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements • Generate regular financial reports for internal and external stakeholders • Assist in processing invoices, payments, and vendor communications • Support AR collections and follow up with customers regarding overdue payments • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations • Maintain organized records and proper documentation for all transactions • Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis • Support forecasting activities as directed by senior team members • Provide documentation and support for audits and financial reviews • Address inquiries related to accounting records and transactions. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory • Ability to conduct Bank Reconciliations efficiently • Experience with General Ledger management • Familiarity with Journal Entries preparation • Capability to handle Month End Close procedures • Proficient in using NetSuite for accounting tasks • Knowledge of Oracle finance software is a plus • Experience with QuickBooks is preferred • Familiarity with SAP accounting software is beneficial Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
