Responsibilities
Participate in ongoing monthly accounting team activities across multiples entities including:Prepare or assist in tracking and recording client and intercompany billingsAssist with monthly closing, account reconciliations and financial statement preparationAssist with client, vendor and employee set up and records maintenanceReview of accounts payable activity and batches prior to disbursementCash management including preparation of weekly reports and bank reconciliationsWeekly/monthly expense report managementReconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenanceAnalyze financial statements for discrepancies and alert management where necessaryAssist with the preparation of ongoing monthly reporting for clients, company management, and corporate/parent accounting group accounting team on a timely basisMonitor, analyze and provide insight on key metrics, business activity and trends as part of client and internal business reportingPartner with key finance, operations and management teams to understand operational performance and identify opportunities and risksInteract professionally with all levels of staff and maintain the highest level of confidentialityAbility to handle multiple, competing priorities in an effective mannerOther duties within the accounting function as assignedSkills & Abilities
