Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions. **WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:** + Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial transactions. + Assist in the research and analysis of general ledger account variances. + Development and maintenance of recurring Journal Entries. + Preparation of assigned month-end account reconciliations accurately and on a timely basis. + Provide proactive analysis and support to the finance team. + Maintenance of Sarbanes Oxley documentation. + Provide requested internal and external audit documentation. + Prepare Ad Hoc data requests and project work as requested. + Back-up others as needed in the primary accounting center environment to help with workloads as appropriate and to ensure work is completed timely and accurately. **YOU HAVE:** + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred. + 2+ years accounting experience preferred. + Experience with Oracle, JDE or similar operating software package. + Experience with OneStream a plus. + Proficient with all Microsoft Office products. + CPA or CMA preferred but not required. + Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. + The ability to work and interact with various departments throughout the organization. + The ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. + Must display flexibility in regard to overtime during periods of peak activity. + Must be an excellent teammate, a self-starter who is looking to grow professionally, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. **WE HAVE:** + A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day + At nVent, we believe safer systems ensure a more secure world.
