Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our client’s finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and account reconciliations. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Conduct regular audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies. Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls to enhance financial processes. Provide support for special projects and financial analyses as needed. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance preferred. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar). Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
