Description
Summary:Indus Hospitality Group is looking for a Full time Staff Accountant at our Corporate Office. The Staff Accountant will work primarily with our Dunkin & YUM! Portfolios & report to the Accounting Manager. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for all month-end tasks for these portfolios, including bank reconciliations, Balance Sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting. The Staff Accountant will also work with the greater accounting team to perform Internal Audits across all operating locations.
Position Responsibilities:
· Perform month-end tasks for Dunkin & YUM! entities
· Reconcile bank accounts for our Dunkin & YUM! entities
· Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts for our Dunkin & YUM! entities
· Prepare operating financials for Executive team
· Prepare weekly revenue, food & supply, and labor reports for operations
· Upload invoice data from various suppliers on a weekly basis
· Regularly connect with operations team to work on areas of opportunity by presenting at General Manager meetings, visiting locations, and meeting with Area Coaches & General Managers, as needed
· Perform Internal Audits, covering all aspects of the business
· Assist Accounting Manager & CFO with projects, as needed
Requirements
Qualifications/Skills:
· Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred; combination of education and experience considered (2+ years’ experience)
· Familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar accounting program preferred
· Detail oriented with the ability to comprehend numerical and financial data
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Independent problem-solving skills
· Able to work collectively and communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, concise and professional manner
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel
· Willingness to learn and adapt in an ever-growing company
