Position Summary:
This position is responsible for recording a variety of financial transactions, including reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing and adjusting journal entries that result in the accurate and timely publishing of monthly financial reports. Duties may include performing account analysis and reconciliation, booking of retail and other revenues, recording cash receipts, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, reconciling donations and posting monthly and yearly accruals.

Accounting: Perform comprehensive accounting activities to maintain complete, accurate and timely financial statements and reports. Transactional Activities: Record and maintain accurate transactional entries and reconciliation monthly. This may include some or all the duties noted below. Banking: Monitor and ensure the integrity of banking and cash management activities by conducting reviews and providing support as needed. Administrative Duties: Assist with various administrative reports and duties in the Finance Department.
Job Pay & Perks:
Typical pay range: $31.47 - $42.57 per hour As a flexible-hybrid role this position will work primarily from a personal home office but also require the employee to work at a physical GESMN or partner facility as business needs require, sometimes with great urgency and little notice. About You:
Required Knowledge & Skills:
Knowledge of monthly accounting cycle and accounting procedures including billing and invoicing, receivables, revenues, payroll accounting, cash procedures and controls Solid technology skills, including Microsoft Office, especially Excel Accounting software skills; Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains a plus Solid communication skills, written and oral High level of accuracy and attention to detail Solid organizational and analytical skills
Prior Experience & Education:
Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of accounting work experience or 4 years of accounting work experience in lieu of degree
