Job Description:

Are you a motivated and passionate accountant with a knack for Accounts Receivable? We’re looking for someone just like you to support our dynamic accounting department and lead our accounts receivable function!

Located in Brillion, WI

THE DAY TO DAY...

Apply customer payment and other cash receipts to the appropriate invoice or general ledger account

Complete a daily AR rollforward and monthly AR close

Review and process ocean freight invoices for Dealers and Intercompany charges

Prepare debit/credit memorandums to indicate returned/transferred or incorrectly billed merchandise

Responsible for credit card system reporting and order processing

Manage daily invoices, listing items sold, amounts due, credit terms and dates of shipment

Perform account reconciliations in order to validate proper postings

Prepare & submit monthly journal entries

Prepare monthly and quarterly sales reports for government contracts

Assist in the management of inventory on internal accounts and disposition plans

Coordinate the accounting for inventory giveaway and donations

Maintain product history integrity

Consult on business system requirements and work flow with internal customers to support transactions

Coordinate preparation of external audit materials

Identify, recommend and implement process improvement opportunities

Communicate/collaborate with all Ariens Company business employees and locations

Complete special projects and other duties as requested by management

THE QUALIFICATIONS...

Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience with a minimum of Associate degree

Experience with Accounts Receivables is desirable

Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience is preferred

Previous experience working with Accounting software, query tools, and Microsoft Office to include intermediate level Excel
