Staff Accountant (SHUSA)

Sonic Healthcare USA (SHUSA) has an exciting opening for a Staff Accountant in our Austin, Texas office. This is not a remote position.
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for general ledger postings, account reconciliations, assistance with monthly close process, bank reconciliations, and other special projects. This role requires working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in order to manage the financial reporting aspect of this role. Knowledge of spreadsheet software is also required.
Essential Job Duties:
Post daily/weekly/monthly journal entriesAssist in month end close processProvide monthly balance sheet reconciliationsReview variances between GL and subledgersCoordinate with divisional accounting teams on a routine basisSupport as needed for special finance centric projects. BBA degree in finance, accounting, business or related field preferred. Minimum one (1) years relevant experience required. Healthcare industry experience preferred.
