Staff Accountant

Local accounting firm looking to add a Staff Accountant to manage client accounts and take care of payroll, preparation of financial documents, and prepare and file tax documents. EA or CPA a plus!

Staff Accountant Details:

Direct Hire position$60,000.00 to $75,000.00 /annuallyFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Management of multiple client accountsPayroll processingPrepare Financial Statements for Business ClientsBookkeeping and reconciliationsKeep track of deadlines and deliverables for multiple clientsPayroll knowledgeSales Tax ReturnsRegular communication with clientsAnswer client questions and provide advicePrepare and file tax documents, such as income tax returnsCheck documents for errorsMeet with clientsProvide support to clients in the case of an IRS audit

Staff Accountant Qualifications:

Bachelor’s DegreeExperience as Tax Preparer and BookkeeperExperience with Microsoft Office & Thomson Reuter, Ultra Tax, or Accounting CS Software ProductsCPA or EA a plus!
