Description Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to take on the responsibility for overseeing financial statements, managing the general ledger, and maintaining fiscal files. The chosen individual will work directly with the finance team to ensure all accounting tasks are performed accurately and in a timely manner. Responsibilities: + Process payroll and manage any changes to employee files. + Examine accounting records, including financial statements and other financial reports. + Analyze budgets and create expense reports. + Examine tax policies and handle tax payments and returns. + Prepare and analyze periodic accounting reports to assess budget control. Requirements + Proven working experience as a Staff Accountant. + Exceptional computer skills and competence in accounting software, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office applications. + In-depth understanding of business principles and laws. + Excellent organizational and analytical skills. + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline; CPA or MBA preferred.
