Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a part-time Staff Accountant in Lake Oswego, Oregon. The individual in this role will be integral to our client's team, handling accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger tasks. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) operations • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy • Handle tasks related to the general ledger and prepare journal entries • Assist with month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements • Use Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and report on financial performance • Utilize Deltek software for accounting tasks and financial management • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations • Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and procedures • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities when necessary This role is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to enhance their accounting skills in a dynamic environment.
