Description One of our clients is looking for a Staff Accountant for a contract to permanent placement opportunity. ***Reach out to Ade Henderson via LinkedIn for immediate consideration*** + Assist in preparation, examination, and analysis of monthly financial statements, ensuring financial records are maintained in compliance with company policies and US GAAP. + Oversee accounting daily operations, maintaining the general ledger system. + Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations. + Assist in developing and maintaining internal controls and financial procedures. + Prepare payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions. + Perform monthly bank settlements. + Conduct weekly and monthly financial reports. Requirements + Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. + 2-3 years of general or tax accounting experience. + Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software. + In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and regulations. + Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail. + Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
