Description Robert Half is partnered with a fast growing Baton Rouge healthcare company in search of a Staff Accountant. This role involves executing various accounting functions, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing financial reports. You will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy of the company's financial and statistical data. Responsibilities • Handle daily accounting tasks to maintain the general ledger and prepare financial reports • Conduct detailed analysis of Accounts Receivable ledger accounts to guarantee revenue accuracy • Implement and supervise cost control measures, ensuring expenses are accurate and appropriate • Undertake various accounting functions to deliver financial and statistical information to the relevant parties • Supervise accounting department functions including Billing, Payroll, and Accounts Payable • Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, and NetSuite to enhance accounting procedures • Support and implement the mission and vision of the organization • Uphold exceptional customer service standards in all interactions and transactions • Proactively address and resolve customer inquiries, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills. Requirements • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field • Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations • Solid knowledge of General Ledger management • Ability to prepare accurate Journal Entries • Experience with Month End Close procedures • Familiarity with NetSuite or similar software • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities • High level of accuracy and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Must adhere to strict confidentiality and data protection protocols.
