Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Wheeling, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management. You will be part of a dynamic team, working in a fast-paced industry, where your skills in MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations will be highly utilized. Responsibilities: • Manage and process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions • Perform bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy • Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date • Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process • Use your skills in MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to ensure efficient financial operations • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles • Coordinate and complete annual audits • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions • Meet financial accounting objectives. Requirements • Possess a minimum of two years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar • Hold proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Have experience with Bank Reconciliations • Show a strong understanding of General Ledger operations • Be able to prepare and adjust Journal Entries • Have experience with Month End Close procedures • Demonstrate proficiency in using MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations • Exhibit a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently • Show excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks • Hold a degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred) • Have strong verbal and written communication skills • Show a willingness to continue learning and improving accounting skills.
