Description Lisa Cole with Robert Half is partnering with a growing energy company that is looking for a Staff Accountant. In this role, you will handle a wide range of accounting duties, including the management of accounts payable and receivable, the reconciliation of accounts, and the preparation of financial reports. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of our financial operations and will work closely with the corporate accounting department. This is a hybrid position based in Rocklin, CA. Responsibilities: • Oversee daily financial activities for our residential solar division, including the management of accounts payable and receivable. • Support the monthly and annual closing of the books, ensuring all financial activities are accurately recorded and reported. • Work closely with the CFO to reconcile accounts and maintain GAAP activities within the ledger. • Prepare financial reports and conduct variance analysis, providing commentary where necessary. • Assist with the preparation and compliance of tax documents. • Collaborate on the improvement of systems and processes within the accounting department. • Provide support to other departments, offering accounting expertise as needed. • Audit financial records periodically to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as required. • Contribute to the organization and execution of day-to-day accounting functions. • Assist with activities related to the integration of company books. Requirements Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar position • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately and efficiently • Demonstrated experience with General Ledger maintenance • Familiarity with preparing and analyzing Journal Entries • Experience in managing Month End Close procedures • Proficiency in the use of NetSuite and QuickBooks accounting software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
