Staff Accountant
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the healthcare, hospitals, and social assistance industry in Minnetonka, Minnesota. We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving inquiries. You will also monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications • Maintain and update customer credit records • Resolve customer inquiries, providing high-quality customer service • Monitor customer accounts and perform necessary actions • Carry out bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records • Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger • Perform month-end close procedures • Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities • Utilize various financial systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP • Conduct payroll functions ensuring accurate and timely processing. Requirements • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Proven experience working as a Staff Accountant or similar role in the healthcare industry • Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and NetSuite • Deep understanding and experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently • Extensive knowledge in managing a General Ledger • Experience in preparing journal entries and maintaining financial records • Familiarity with the month-end close process • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large amounts of data • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Demonstrated time management skills and ability to meet deadlines • Must adhere to the highest principles of patient and client confidentiality • Should be able to comply with all company policies and procedures.
